Your Giving Options
Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation welcomes expressions of interest and financial support, regardless of size or form, from any individual, family, business, corporation or similar source.
There are many giving options available to support Lambda Chi Alpha; some may even benefit the donor as well.
You have the ability to make an immediate impact by making a cash gift through our online donation form using the following giving methods:

- Venmo
Make a one-time donation, or schedule a recurring payment on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
Please make checks payable to the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation and include details about the intended use of your gift, such as area of greatest need or a designated fund or program.

Donate by Bank Transfer
Donate online securely using your bank account by visiting our donation page. Bank transfers can take 5-7 days to process.
If a supporter receives a bank transfer donation through their Founders’ Day Challenge fundraising page, the donation will appear on their page after the donation finishes processing.
Our fundraising platform, GoFundMe Pro fka Classy, completes bank account transactions using Plaid, which is the easiest and fastest way for donors to sign into their financial account to withdraw their donation.
Plaid allows you to securely connect to your bank account to transfer your one-time or recurring donation. Your bank account information is not saved by Plaid.
If you sign up for recurring gifts, it will be securely used by our fundraising platform to withdraw donations on your recurring gift schedule.

Donate using your donor-advised fund by submitting a request to your DAF sponsor, such as Fidelity Charitable or DAFgiving360, to disburse a grant to Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation.
To initiate the grant, you need the Educational Foundation’s federal tax ID or EIN: 13-6266432.
What is a donor-advised fund?
Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are centralized charitable giving accounts.
They allow charitably-inclined individual, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and in some case, certain illiquid assets, to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.
The sponsor facilitates grants from your donor-advised fund to qualified charitable organizations on your behalf at your request.
Donate using your individual retirement account (IRA) through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) or to fulfill your required minimum distribution (RMD).
Qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) are an increasingly popular way for donors 70½ or older to support the mission of the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation.
You can make up to $108,000 in tax-free charitable distributions annually, lowering your taxable income, and, if you’re age 73 or older, helping you to meet your minimum distribution requirement (RMD).
To initiate a qualified charitable distribution (QCD), your IRA trustee will need the following information:

Memorial and honorary gifts are an appropriate way to recognize someone’s life and accomplishments by making a donation in their honor or memory.
Use our online giving form to send a personal message to your intended honoree and/or their family members.
For those who wish to honor the name of a family or an individual in perpetuity with a project or program of enduring worth, including leadership funds and scholarships, the Educational Foundation can help you explore your options.
