Honoring Our Founding
Mason’s Circle is a donor society exclusively for Collegiate Members of Lambda Chi Alpha. It is named after the first charitable donor whose estate gift established the Educational Foundation, John “Jack” Mason (Pennsylvania 1913)—our spiritual founder and ritual author.
Collegiate Members can join Mason’s Circle by making a symbolic donation of $19.09 to honor our Fraternity’s founding year.
Chapters with 100% participation of Collegiate Members joining Mason’s Circle as part of the Founders’ Day Challenge will receive a trophy and recognition during the High Zeta Summit.
Mason’s Circle is named after our ritual author, spiritual founder, and first charitable donor to the Educational Foundation, Dr. John E. “Jack” Mason Jr. (Pennsylvania 1913).
This donor society is aims to cultivate a spirit of philanthropy and engage Collegiate Members in making a positive impact within our Fraternity.
It is an investment in the future of Lambda Chi and a tribute to our spiritual founder.
Lambda Chi Alpha is the only fraternity whose spiritual founder also served as its first charitable donor.
Thanks to his generosity, Brother Mason established the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation—the largest public charity dedicated to supporting the Brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha.
