
CARMEL, Ind., Feb. 10, 2026 - The Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation (LCAEF) is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to its Board of Directors: Paul Ainsworth, Mark Fournier, Kris Reddy, Carlton Roberts, and John Schmitt.
The Foundation awards more than $2 million annually in scholarships, fellowships, and educational grants to help Brothers discover and live their values and purpose. The addition of these new board members strengthens the Foundation's ability to support Brothers during college and beyond.
"These individuals embody the values of Lambda Chi Alpha and bring a diverse range of perspectives that will help guide the Foundation forward," said Dan Hartmann, president and CEO. "We are grateful for their willingness to serve and for the expertise they bring to our work."
New board members
Paul Ainsworth, The George Washington University, '96
Ainsworth is a partner at Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox, an intellectual property law firm based in Washington, D.C. At The George Washington University, he was a founding father of the Delta-Xi Zeta. He later served on the Lambda Chi Alpha staff and as High Pi at the American University chapter.
Mark Fournier, Southern Methodist University, '77
Fournier has served as a senior vice president and certified financial planner at Morgan Stanley for 28 years and has also been a United States Soccer Federation referee and referee instructor/mentor for 18 years. He is an Alumni Brother of the Gamma-Sigma Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha.
Kris Reddy, California State University, Chico, '19
Reddy is a founder and investor in enterprise software, engineering services, and semiconductor ventures. He splits his time between serving as chief financial officer of an engineering services company and working with a private equity firm specializing in strategic industries. Prior to his private sector career, Reddy served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Carlton Roberts, University of Georgia '77
Roberts is a retired media executive and journalist. He serves as the communications director for the Alumni Advisory Board of Nu Zeta at the University of Georgia. He is a strong advocate for alumni engagement and building an integrated stewardship model linking local Chapters and the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation.
John Schmitt, Eastern Illinois '76
Schmitt is a two-time graduate of Eastern Illinois University and a founding and charter member of the Phi-Alpha Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha. He has remained deeply involved with the fraternity throughout his life, serving as chapter adviser, alumni association treasurer and secretary, and chair of the 2022 Founders’ Day Committee. He received Lambda Chi Alpha’s Order of Merit in 1996.
The Board of Directors provides strategic oversight and governance to ensure the Foundation remains a trusted steward of alumni support and continues to invest in the next generation of leaders.
