What is a feasibility study?

A feasibility study is an objective assessment of your Chapter’s readiness for a major fundraising effort. Through conversations with Alumni, donors, and volunteers, we gather meaningful feedback to evaluate interest, identify opportunities, and determine whether a campaign is achievable.

What is campaign counsel?

Campaign counsel is a comprehensive service offering that provides strategic guidance, structure, and hands-on support to help a Zeta plan, execute, and successfully complete a major fundraising campaign.

Example Timeline

Campaigns are broken into 3 stages: planning (3-6 months), silent (6-8 months), and public (12+ months).

The planning phase is an organizing period, aimed at securing volunteer leadership and early/lead commitments.

In the silent phase, you’re aiming to reach 60% of your goal through additional lead and major gift commitments, before announcing publicly.

After the announcement, you raise the remaining balance through smaller gifts from a wider group.

Successful Client Story

Home Away From Home Campaign

The Alpha-Gamma Zeta Chapter at the University of South Dakota partnered with Lambda Chi Foundation to launch the “Home Away From Home” Campaign, a transformational fraternity housing campaign focused on rebuilding the Chapter house at 327 North Pine Street.

Working alongside Chapter volunteers and campaign leadership, Lambda Chi Foundation provided strategic fundraising support, campaign planning, donor engagement strategy, and long-term philanthropic guidance throughout the effort.

By aligning the campaign’s vision, leadership, and fundraising strategy, the project united Brothers across generations around a shared investment in the future of Alpha-Gamma Zeta and successfully raised $3.6 million, surpassing their goal of $3 million.

More than a capital project, the campaign strengthened Alumni engagement and helped position the Chapter to provide a modern home for future Collegiate Brothers for generations to come.
