Founders’ Day Challenge is an annual competition that raises funds to support the mission of Lambda Chi Alpha and celebrate the founding of our Brotherhood.
Ambassadors support the Founders’ Day Challenge by encouraging Brothers to donate – you can join your Chapter team and create a fundraiser page to help spread the word.

Ambassadors share timely updates and impactful stories that showcase how our donor-funded innovative programs are meeting the challenges facing young men today.
Fraternity done right provides connection. Research from the American Institute for Boys and Men shows that men often build relationships through shared activities, clubs, and organizations. They are also more likely than women to say they aren’t meaningfully part of a group or community. Joining Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity gives a young man more than a new group of people to meet. It gives him opportunities to serve alongside others, take on responsibility, participate in Chapter life, and build relationships through shared experiences. That’s an experience worth investing in. From Oxford’s classrooms to Shakespeare’s Globe and beyond, the Kris Reddy Global Education Scholarship helped make an unforgettable six weeks abroad possible for Grant Parcell (Washington and Lee ‘29). While studying Tudor and early Stuart history and literature at Oxford University, Grant strengthened his writing and critical thinking, explored the history and culture surrounding his studies, and even found time for a few adventures beyond Oxford. “My fantastic tutors and the world-class lecturers sharpened my rhetoric and writing by challenging me to think in ways that initially seemed completely alien. I am exceptionally grateful to Kris Reddy and the Lambda Chi Foundation for making this experience possible.” This scholarship was founded by Brother Kris Reddy (California State- Chico ’19) and supports Brothers seeking international education experiences. Congratulations, Grant, on receiving this award!
We’re excited to announce Kevin Lacy (Tulsa ’80) as Chair of the 2026 Founders’ Day Challenge! On November 2, Brothers will come together to celebrate Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity’s Founders’ Day and support the next generation of #menwithpurpose. Kevin will help lead the effort alongside a growing network of Foundation Ambassadors. 112 Brothers have already signed up to serve as Ambassadors. Will you join them? Recently, over 20 Alumni Brothers representing Chapters from across the country gathered in Chicago to reconnect, build new relationships, and hear more about what’s happening across Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. The evening also offered an opportunity to learn how Alumni can stay engaged and make an impact on future generations of Brothers. As young men return to campuses across the country, an important question is worth asking: What helps them thrive? Research from the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence points to the impact of fraternity: stronger well-being, greater confidence as leaders, deeper connections to campus and community, and better preparation for life after college. The Lambda Chi Foundation is proud to invest in this research and use what we learn to help strengthen the fraternity experience for the next generation. Some legacies are carried forward in more ways than one. As a recipient of the Dirghalli Scholarship, Michael Colocado (Oregon State ’94) had the unique privilege of knowing Rev. S. George “Doc” Dirghalli personally. When he crossed the stage at graduation, he carried a photo of Rev. Dirghalli with him in recognition of the impact he had on his life. “I’m really proud, honored and humbled to have been a recipient of the Dirghalli Scholarship. His life and legacy still lives on as he continues to impact the lives of many Brothers.” Established by Rev. S. George “Doc” and Kira Dirghalli, funds for this academic scholarship are available to current and former members of the professional staff at Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity pursuing advanced degrees. We join Lambda Chi Alpha in mourning the passing of Brother Bill Rasmussen, DePauw ’54. Brother Rasmussen made a lasting impact through his leadership and accomplishments, and we are grateful for the example he set for generations of Brothers. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and Brothers during this time. Forever in ZAX.

We are proud to recognize the five Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity Chapters that have become 2026 Mason’s Circle Champions so far: Epsilon-Omicron (Lambda Chi at UT) Zeta-Tau (Lambda Chi Alpha at Stetson University) Gamma-Chi (Lambda Chi Alpha at the University of Arkansas) Alpha-Kappa (Lambda Chi Alpha – Wabash College) Iota-Pi (Texas Christian University) Mason’s Circle is named in honor of Dr. John E. “Jack” Mason Jr. (Pennsylvania 1913), Lambda Chi Alpha’s spiritual founder and the first charitable donor to the Foundation. Today, Collegiate Brothers continue that tradition with a symbolic gift of $19.09, a nod to Lambda Chi’s founding year. We are still reminiscing about an unforgettable weekend in Kansas City. Lambda Chi Alpha Brothers and Alumni from all over the country gathered to reconnect, learn, and celebrate our Brotherhood during the 61st General Assembly. We also were able to share the exciting public launch of our Men With Purpose Campaign. Thanks to our generous donors, over $45 million of our $60 million goal has been raised.
