Men With Purpose
The Campaign for Lambda Chi Alpha
The Most Ambitious Campaign in Lambda Chi Alpha History
Every man needs to find his purpose. No man should have to search for it alone. The Lambda Chi Foundation has announced the public launch of the Men With Purpose Campaign, the most ambitious campaign in our Fraternity’s history.
This historic $60 million fundraising effort will help fund the Lambda Chi Alpha experience for generations, while driving innovation in the world of young men’s development. Our transformational, data-driven programs teach the lessons that can’t be taught in the classroom, building a man’s character and competence to accelerate his career readiness.
So far, we have raised $45 million towards this effort. Learn more about the campaign and how you can help develop men with purpose.
Investing in Potential. Helping Men Find Purpose.
DonateMen need fraternity now more than ever. Male college enrollment is at a 50-year low. Loneliness is at an all-time high, and more men are failing to launch into independent adulthood. We’re committed to bridging the gap by advancing men’s development, improving access to opportunity, and investing in fraternity as a force for good.
As traditional institutions leave young men behind, we choose to take action and invest in opportunities for them to grow, serve, and lead in their communities. We will also strengthen the Foundation’s endowment, ensuring these opportunities remain available for generations to come.
No one knows the path they’re meant to walk. But for over 100 years, Lambda Chi Alpha has helped men find their place in the world. Because Men With Purpose not only lead happier lives, they become better leaders, better fathers, and better people.
More men are reaching adulthood without the skills to truly embrace their independence. This growing “failure to launch” leaves young men struggling to find community, keep jobs, and live a meaningful life. But the best solution is prevention. We help men build their confidence while in college, inspiring them to find their purpose and pursue their goals with ambition.
The Men With Purpose Campaign is our commitment to future generations—a promise to guide them on their journey and help transform their potential into purpose. Lambda Chi Alpha invests in men when they need it most, connecting them with a family of 300,000 Brothers who will love and support them through life.
With your support, the Lambda Chi Foundation is transforming the Fraternity experience to better prepare men for life beyond college. Every program and initiative we fund helps more men discover their passion, refine their skills, and one day fulfill their purpose.
A $60 Million Investment in a Purpose-Driven Generation
This historic investment will help fund the Lambda Chi Alpha experience for generations, while driving innovation in the world of young men’s development. Our transformational, data-driven programs teach the lessons that can’t be taught in the classroom, building a man’s character and competence to accelerate his career readiness.
Your support drives progress toward our 2030 goals, as we seek to expand our impact across 200+ Chapters, award millions in annual grants and scholarships, and help thousands more men find their purpose in life. Because fraternity gives young men a place to discover who they are and become the men they were meant to be.

Eddie Nava (Cal State - Los Angeles) didn’t join Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity expecting to discover a leader in himself. But through his time with the Chapter, he found opportunities to take responsibility, organize events that served thousands in the community, and contribute in ways that pushed him to grow. Those experiences helped Eddie recognize strengths he had not yet seen in himself and showed him that leadership can begin with stepping forward to help. On Nov. 2, Founders’ Day Challenge gives Brothers and supporters the opportunity to invest in the programs and resources that help today’s young men grow through meaningful Lambda Chi experiences of their own. How do young men actually learn to lead? In our latest blog, we sit down with Chief Learning Officer Simon Taylor to hear his perspective on how experience, training, reflection, and mentorship work together to help young men become more effective leaders. He also explores how Foundation-supported programs help Brothers put those lessons into practice and what leadership growth can look like over time. As a sophomore, William Eskew (Coe College) was involved on campus but still struggling to find where he truly fit. Then the Brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha reached out and gave him the support and encouragement that changed his college experience. Through Brotherhood, William found a community that helped him grow, develop as a leader, and make the most of his time in college. His story is a reminder of the difference it can make when a young man is surrounded by people who believe in his potential and are willing to support him along the way. In just 20 days, our annual Founders’ Day Challenge will provide an opportunity to invest in the programs, resources, and opportunities that strengthen the Lambda Chi experience for the Brothers who come next. The mission of the Lambda Chi Foundation is to invest in a transformational Lambda Chi experience. It’s about building a Brotherhood worth building, one that helps men become better leaders, better fathers, better friends, and better people. Our new mission video brings that work to life and shares why investing in today’s Brothers matters for the generations that follow. What is a donor-advised fund, and how can it support your charitable goals? In recognition of DAF Day, we’re sharing an overview of how donor-advised funds work, why some donors choose to use them, and how they can simplify charitable giving over time. For Brothers and supporters who already have a DAF, recommending a grant to the Lambda Chi Foundation is one way to invest in the programs and opportunities that help young men grow, serve, and lead. When Jeffrey Steele Scholarship recipient Daniel Pallekonda (High Point '28) arrived on campus his freshman year, he wasn’t sure fraternity life was for him. Today, he describes Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity as an experience that has helped shape his college years. An International Business major with minors in Chinese and Leadership, Daniel hopes to build a career connecting businesses in the United States and China. At the same time, he’s growing as a leader through his role as High Tau at Lambda Chi Alpha HPU and learning what it means to be someone his Brothers can count on. Through the generosity of donors, scholarships like this help Brothers continue pursuing their education while making the most of the opportunities that shape their college experience and prepare them for what comes next. Congratulations, Daniel, and thank you to the donors who make opportunities like these possible. #MenWithPurpose #FraternityDoneRight
After years of work to secure a permanent home at 10 Madbury Road, nearly 100 Alumni Brothers contributed more than $1 million through the Returning Home Campaign. But purchasing the house was only the beginning. With less than three months before Undergraduate Brothers were set to move in, Alumni and Undergraduate Members came together to give the Chapter House a complete refresh. Brothers spent evenings, weekends, and countless hours painting, repairing, landscaping, building, and preparing the house for the next generation to call home. That work culminated in a rededication celebrating Lambda Chi Alpha’s return to 10 Madbury Road, this time as owners. Today, we recognize the hundreds of Brothers whose generosity, hard work, and perseverance made this moment possible. Their efforts are a fitting example of Kalepa Ta Kala: what is worthwhile is difficult, and some things are worth working for. Welcome home, Alpha-Xi!
Fraternity, done right, grounds growth in respect. More than 50 years ago, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity made a significant change to the fraternity experience. In 1972, it became the first fraternity to abolish pledging, replacing it with Associate Membership. Associate Members received voting rights in Chapter matters and the ability to run for office. It was a meaningful statement about the kind of Brotherhood Lambda Chi aspired to build: young men can be challenged to grow while also being welcomed with dignity and respect. That principle continues to inform our work today. The Lambda Chi Foundation invests in the programs and experiences that help Brothers strengthen their character, develop as leaders, and build a sense of belonging within Lambda Chi. Because every man deserves a place to belong, and every Brother deserves to be treated with respect. It was a great Homecoming weekend at Butler! Lambda Chi Alpha at Butler University Undergraduate Members and Alumni Brothers came together at the Alpha-Alpha Chapter House for good food, plenty of conversation, and a Butler win over Chicago State. This year’s gathering also saw the highest turnout of young Alumni yet, making it an especially exciting opportunity to reconnect with old friends and build relationships across generations of Lambda Chi. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the weekend a success!
