Refreshed Mission, Vision, and Brand Identity

By Lambda Chi Foundation

CARMEL, Ind., June 18, 2026— At a time when young men are more isolated and disconnected than ever before, the Lambda Chi Foundation believes that fraternity, done right, is one of the most transformative forces for developing men with purpose.

The Foundation is launching a new brand identity, including a new mission, vision, logo, and visual identity. This update reflects the Foundation’s belief that young men thrive when given brotherhood, mentorship, and leadership opportunities in a structured, supportive environment. We see the challenges men face and choose to take action—not only investing in answers but pioneering real solutions.

Bold Mission, Vision, and Brand Promise

The Lambda Chi Foundation is the primary investing partner of Lambda Chi Alpha.

But we are far more than a fraternal foundation. We are a champion of men, a force for good, and a voice of progress in our Fraternity and beyond.

At the heart of the new brand are two principles that drive us forward:

Mission: The Lambda Chi Foundation proves that fraternity, done right, is one of the most transformative forces for developing men with purpose.

Vision: No young man should have to face the world alone.

Our brand promise is both a commitment to our donors and an invitation to make a difference. It is a reminder that meaningful change begins with one man—and that the results of our efforts speak for themselves:

Invest in One Man. Impact Every Life He Touches. Meet the Evidence.

“This moment calls for our brand to reaffirm our promise to donors and future investors. Young men are struggling to find community and purpose. We have over a century of evidence that Lambda Chi Alpha is fraternity done right, and this brand refresh is our commitment to proving that claim,” said Dan Hartmann, Truman State ’07, President & CEO of the Lambda Chi Foundation.

What the Foundation Does

The Lambda Chi Foundation invests in men with purpose. Every young man is searching for his purpose. Fraternity helps him find the answer—and pursue his path with conviction. Every program and initiative we fund helps more men discover their passion, refine their skills, and one day fulfill their ambition. Because we know that men with purpose not only lead happier lives, they also become better leaders, better followers, better husbands, better partners, better fathers, and better people.

Brand Identity

The refreshed logo and brand visuals stay true to our history while communicating the Foundation’s mission more clearly.

At the center is a classic Lambda Chi symbol: our lamp, representing our Brothers’ potential, together with its gold flame – the light of Lambda Chi – exemplifying our hope for the future of our Brotherhood. Held within a circle, without beginning or end, we remind ourselves of our Fraternity’s highest symbol, the Crescent: pure, high, and ever-growing.

More than a century after our founding, in a world much evolved, these timeless symbols remain our cornerstones and purpose for intentionally investing in the lives of young men.

As the Foundation looks ahead, our focus remains the same: creating opportunities for these young men to belong, grow, and lead.

“When Brothers, volunteers, and friends invest in our Foundation, they aren’t just supporting the collegiate experience,” Dan continues. “They’re accelerating who that young man will become and every life he’ll lead, mentor, and serve along the way. That’s what this brand refresh represents.”
