Leadership Annual Giving Officer
Jeff Craig serves as the Leadership Annual Giving Officer for the Foundation. In his role, Jeff will be responsible for securing mid-level, recurring, chapter, and corporate matching gift support for the Educational Foundation.
Jeff Craig recently served as Director of Development with the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement. Jeff began his career in development with the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2016 after nearly 20 years in sales.
During his tenure as a development officer, Jeff has raised over $16 million, consistently exceeding fiscal year goals for funds raised and face-to-face visits. He has played a pivotal role in executing strategic priorities for billion-dollar fundraising campaigns, including Campaign ASU 2020 and Together Hawkeyes Campaign. Jeff’s exceptional performance earned him the prestigious “Million Dollar Achievement Award” in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
A native of Northwest Indiana, Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications with a focus on Sales and Management from Ball State University (Iota-Alpha Zeta). After an internship in Phoenix, Arizona, he made the state his home for 18 years before relocating to the Midwest in 2020.
As a cancer survivor, Jeff is passionate about supporting comprehensive cancer care and research. He also gives back to his community through philanthropic efforts, including serving on the Red Shoe Run Committee for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys traveling, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, and running—and completed a marathon in 2020. Two of Jeff’s most cherished memories are marrying his wife, Jennifer, on a rooftop at Wrigley Field in 2014 and witnessing game 5 of the Cubs’ historic World Series win in 2016.
